In essence, to our "home", we face our fears, release tensions such as physical and psychic ties, and connect with the elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether through postures and Dance.
In this practice of Shakti Yoga Dance we allow our emotions to come to the surface, where we can then understand them better, through dancing with joy and fun. It is not necessary to be a Yoga practitioner, much less know how to dance.

The ideal would be to practice fasting. If there is an extreme need, eat something light, easy to digest, and in small quantities 2 hours before class.
Clothing needs to be comfortable, flexible, and lightweight. It is important that the clothing has some flexibility to help you execute the movements.
No. Shakti Yoga Dance combines the awareness of yoga with the freedom of dance. During practice we create our own movements, we let it flow freely and naturally.
